It's one of those Thomas Kinkade Disney ones (Cinderella, obviously). In real life it sparkles because instead of using French Knots (which hate me. I was doing the form perfectly and could not get those dang things to work) I used shiny beads, which are prettier than french knots anyways. Yay! Now I just have to frame it and find some place to stick it on my walls. Any ways, I have some post ideas, but I don't know when I'll get to them. Summer is coming up quickly, which really means papers and finals are coming up more quickly. So, we'll see.
My two little girls (ages 2 and 4) are looking over my shoulder, exclaiming in delight over your picture! They love Cinderella dearly -- where did you find that pattern? It's lovely! Well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was really fun to do. I got it at Hobby Lobby. There are a whole bunch of Thomas Kinkade Disney patterns that you can do (There's Beauty and the Beast ones, Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, etc). Mine is 5X7, but there are bigger ones if you're into that sort of thing (Although the big ones are like fifty bucks). The 5X7 ones are about $12.00 and come with everything you'll need to do them. :)
DeleteVery cool! I have no Hobby Lobby here, alas, but there's one near my parents' house, so I'll ask my mom to look for it. I see Amazon has them too, so I may end up ordering from there. Thanks!
