It's one of those Thomas Kinkade Disney ones (Cinderella, obviously). In real life it sparkles because instead of using French Knots (which hate me. I was doing the form perfectly and could not get those dang things to work) I used shiny beads, which are prettier than french knots anyways. Yay! Now I just have to frame it and find some place to stick it on my walls. Any ways, I have some post ideas, but I don't know when I'll get to them. Summer is coming up quickly, which really means papers and finals are coming up more quickly. So, we'll see.

Post-Lenten Update
So... I decided kind of last minute this year to give up social media for Lent, which is why I haven't really been hanging around here for the past 40 days! Yesterday was a wonderful Easter day, and also the great feast day where I got to (finally) break my social media 'fast'. Hooray! School has been pretty insane. I'll be happy with just surviving this semester. But, in other news, I've finally finished the cross stitch I've been working on for the past year and a half. I don't have a great picture of it, but loooooooook:

Ok children, here are some ground rules. Keep all posts clean and polite. Flamers and Trollers (unless they are legitimately funny) will be hunted down and destroyed. You are allowed to have, and express, your own opinion but make sure to keep it respectful or else I shall get very cross :).

My two little girls (ages 2 and 4) are looking over my shoulder, exclaiming in delight over your picture! They love Cinderella dearly -- where did you find that pattern? It's lovely! Well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It was really fun to do. I got it at Hobby Lobby. There are a whole bunch of Thomas Kinkade Disney patterns that you can do (There's Beauty and the Beast ones, Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, etc). Mine is 5X7, but there are bigger ones if you're into that sort of thing (Although the big ones are like fifty bucks). The 5X7 ones are about $12.00 and come with everything you'll need to do them. :)
DeleteVery cool! I have no Hobby Lobby here, alas, but there's one near my parents' house, so I'll ask my mom to look for it. I see Amazon has them too, so I may end up ordering from there. Thanks!
